Commercial Services Representative
In this position as a Commercial Services Representative, you will be required to support the commercial department by completing relevant documentation and functions in a timely and accurate manner.
In summary, the Commercial Services Representative will:
- Prepare new commercial business account/change of signors documentation as required.
- Conduct follow-up with members related to outstanding member contracts.
- Work closely with members to process transactional requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Complete Daily Overdraft, ATM exceptions, Close/Cover Letters.
- Completion of daily and monthly reports/reconciling GL’s monthly.
- Provide correspondence and complete all Public Sector Member requests.
- Maintenance of property insurance records.
- Prepare monthly insurance renewal requests and coordinate with Insurance Brokers for outstanding renewals or amendments.
- Assist with monthly Board Reporting in a timely manner and keep updated filed records.
- Process Wires/Foreign Exchange requests from members.
- Process Term Investments and follow-up on Renewals and Maturities.
- Complete Business VISA Applications.
- Complete Bank and Credit Confirmations.
- Any other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- A University level degree in a related field is required. Bachelor of Commerce is preferred.
- Two (2) years of previous administrative experience is required.
- Strong organizational skills and initiative are required.
- Ability to work independently is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required.
- Excellent computer proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are required.

District Director, Retail Services
As a District Director, you will provide overall leadership and management to a designated territory. This would include sales accountability for your assigned location as Manager, Sales & Service. This includes reaching and exceeding established individual and team goals and targets for all products; supporting our sales culture; ongoing training and coaching, ensuring a high level of employee engagement and ensuring locations operate in accordance with our risk management environment.
In summary, District Director, Retail will:
- Develop and monitor the annual, quarterly and monthly business plans to maximize growth and member retention to support the strategic growth and direction of the credit union. Monitor results (daily and weekly) and implement strategies to correct performance gaps.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by advising and providing members with products and services to meet their financial objectives.
- Support business growth of “home location” by meeting with members to assess their needs; matching products and services, while engaging your team on fulfillment when necessary.
- Provide basic financial planning and investment advice to our members.
- Identify and refer to other lines of business including small business, wealth management (various delivery models) and commercial services.
- Create business development strategies throughout geographic regions to increase business and maximize sales and member satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain a community network to promote the credit union’s brand and to support a strong referral source. Actively participate in community investment initiatives that support our strategic direction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to support our overall business objectives.
- Have overall responsibility for locations in a designated area.
- Establish regular coaching with designated employees assisting in their professional and career development and growth.
- Manage member issues, adhering to our market code of conduct.
- Uphold the culture of service and risk, ensuring adherence to policies and the code of conduct. Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues per policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed.
- Maintain current and relevant knowledge of industry trends, competitor products and services.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, guidelines and procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Consistently provide Five Star service to internal and external members.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience.
- Professionalism, with the ability to be successful motivating a team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- A solid knowledge of financial products and services.

As a member of the HR leadership team, you will responsibilities related to performance management, benefit administration, legislative compliance, administration and employee relations.
In summary, as a Human Resources Business Partner you will:
- Assist with strategic HR planning and development
- Facilitate performance management throughout the credit union
- Enhance best practices for performance management for probationary and annual reviews
