Commercial Account Manager - Windsor
As a Commercial Account Manager, you are responsible for managing an assigned commercial portfolio and to assist with the overall growth of personal as well as commercial members with a specific focus in real estate lending (term and construction) and ideally some experience in greenhouse financing.
Position Type: Vacant Position
Salary Range: $90,000-$140,000
In summary, the Commercial Account Manager will:
- Grow our business and actively develop and manage the commercial portfolio (real estate secured term and construction loans including greenhouses).
- Assist, develop and implement business development initiatives to increase revenues.
- Address member needs and concerns in a timely manner to develop and maintain strong relationships.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Managing an assigned commercial portfolio consisting of commercial mortgages, loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, construction, land, and demand loans to meet borrowing needs.
- Making sound recommendations within lending policies and procedures.
- Develop new business by contacting prospects and members and networking in community activities outside of normal business hours.
- Ongoing relationship building with existing members and prospects.
- Preparing proposals as well as credit applications for review and approval.
- Ensuring the assigned credit union’s loan portfolio earns a maximum return while taking the least amount of risk.
- Monitoring assigned loan portfolios, delinquencies, and overdrafts.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for include the following:
- Strong sales acumen with proven results.
- A commitment to professional service, networking, relationship building and retention.
- Post-secondary education in a business and/or finance related field.
- Minimum three to five years of commercial lending experience in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate lending and ideally some greenhouse financing.
