As a Commercial Services Analyst, you will provide support to the Commercial Services department in the areas of credit underwriting and risk analysis. The Analyst team plays a key role in helping the Commercial Services department achieve its growth objectives while ensuring that sound lending policies and procedures are followed at all times.

In summary, the Commercial Analyst will:
- Report to the Team Leader, Commercial Analysts.
- Provide assistance and support to Commercial Account Managers and Directors as required.
- Coordinating and preparing annual reviews for borrowing members with a high level of quality so that the commercial portfolio remains compliant with the Credit Union’s established lending guidelines and FSRA best practices.
- Assist in underwriting new lending opportunities for borrowers operating in diverse industries throughout Canada.

As the Director, Financial Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s financial risk management strategies are effective, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with the regulatory compliance team as well as cross-functional departments and provide strategic direction to enhance risk mitigation and compliance.

In summary, Director, Financial Risk Management will:
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s financial risk management framework, policies, and strategies.
- As a second line of defense function, support and apply an effective challenge function relative to first line of defense and work collaboratively with the third line of defense.
- Support the Senior Risk Officer and senior leadership in maintaining an appropriate risk appetite framework, including evaluation of ongoing suitability of our risk appetite, key risk indicators, Board and Management limits, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and monitoring of financial risks across the organization.
- Analyze, monitor and report on trends and insights from the measurement of key financial risk indicators, providing insights and recommendations to the Senior Risk Officer and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial risk considerations are integrated into business plans of the first line of defense, new products and new initiatives, including performing critical review of business cases developed by the first line of defense.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on financial risk management principles and compliance requirements, including providing support to the first line in the application of the risk appetite framework in business activities and decision making.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes, incorporating insights into financial risk strategies.
- Represent the organization in financial risk management and compliance discussions with external stakeholders.
- Identify the need to implement new financial models/techniques for risk management as WFCU matures its governance, industry standards evolve and regulatory requirements change.
- Working with SRO and others, establishing a model risk and vetting framework for WFCU, and working with others in the risk team as appropriate, perform validation of financial models in alignment with emerging requirements and with consideration of risk.

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of proven and progressive financial risk management experience including but not limited to risk considerations associated with credit risk at a portfolio level, market risk, capital, liquidity funding and other financial risk considerations.

Financial Services Representative - Leamington
The Financial Services Representative is responsible for providing excellent service to our membership.
Position Type: Vacant Position
Salary Range: $43,000-$67,000
As a Financial Services Representative, you will:
- Contribute to the success of the retail location through the achievement of established sales goals and objectives.
- Provide quality service to our members by assessing their needs and identifying credit union products and services to best meet those needs.
- Increase service relationships held by members to meet established targets.
- Promote and process investments including Investment Shares, GICs, RRSPs, RRIFs, and TFSAs.
- Drive mortgage product promotion while consistently meeting and exceeding individual sales goals.
- Promote and process lending products including personal loans, lines of credit, overdraft protection, and applicable insurances.
- Promote and process Visa applications within prescribed guidelines.
- Promote and process accounts and sundry services to meet established targets.
- Participate in campaigns in the retail locations.
- Process over the counter financial transactions.
- Comply with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- Completed post-secondary education is required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in a sales or goal driven environment.

Sales Assistant
In this position as a Sales Assistant, you will provide administrative support in the retail location to sales staff.
Position Type: Vacant Position
Salary Range: $41,000-$50,000
In summary, the Sales Assistant will:
- Consistently provide Five Star service while greeting our members and coordinating member traffic in the retail location.
- Provide administrative assistance including loan filing, processing, transactional processing and telephone back up.
- Prepare general correspondence, filing and general office duties as required.
- Process incoming mail and courier items.
- Process the daily night depository deposits.
- Maintain and order adequate supply of money orders, member drafts, travellers cheques and member cards.
- Prepare a weekly supply order for retail location.
- Perform financial transactions and operate a cash drawer as required.
- Any other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- Completed post-secondary education
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, organization and administrative skills
- Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to providing exceptional member service.
- A strong knowledge of computers is essential.
- The individual must display excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment
