To participate, visit any WFCU Credit Union branch and complete one of the following options:
- Open a new GIC account (One (1) year or greater) with a minimum deposit of $100 in your child’s name.
- Open a new Gold or Diamond EVA chequing account in the parent’s name with a minimum deposit of $250.
The eligible Chequing Account must remain open and in good standing, and the Qualifying Criteria you performed to receive the entry must remain in effect for 90 days from the time of opening. If the parent or guardian fails to meet the criteria set out above, the parent or legal guardian will be prohibited from entering WFCU Credit Union contests for 3 years.
Once Option 1 or Option 2 are completed, the child will be automatically entered into the WFCU Credit Union, the Official Canadian Credit Union of the Detroit Lions contest draw.

Eligibility
WFCU Credit Union, the Official Canadian Credit Union of the Detroit Lions Contest: 2nd Annual Kick-Off Kid is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and the parent or legal guardian of a child between the ages of 6 and 14 at the time of entry.
Sweepstakes Period
The sweepstakes begin on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time and end on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Sweepstakes period is divided into nine (9) entry periods (Weekly Entry Period) as outlined below. There will be one (1) drawing during each Weekly Entry Period.
