Spelling Bee Champions Have Been Crowned!

WFCU
Kavya Vasudeva, a grade seven student at Christ the King French Immersion Catholic Elementary School in Windsor, was named the 2025 WFCU Credit Union Scripps Regional Spelling Bee champion, successfully spelling the winning word “googly.”

ECU
Arshan Shahriar, a grade five student at Selwyn Elementary School in Toronto, has been named the 2025 ECU Scripps Regional Spelling Bee champion, successfully spelling the winning word “feign.”
