We are dedicated to supporting initiatives that enrich and strengthen the communities we serve. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to make a positive impact on local organizations and events that align with our values and mission.

Eligibility

WFCU is proud to support…

Organizations that are registered charities or not-for-profits.
Initiatives within WFCU Credit Union's communities (Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, London-Middlesex, or the Waterloo Region).
Initiatives that are aligned with WFCU's focus areas: Health and Wellbeing, Education, and Youth.

Who can request funding?

Registered charities through the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Registered not-for-profit organizations.
Community Organizations.

Exceptions

Individuals, private businesses, or for-profit initiatives.
Political groups, events, or initiatives.
Religious groups, events, or initiatives, unless providing a secular service that benefits the community.
Third-party events and fundraisers.
Capital campaigns, donation matching, or endowment funds.

Submissions

The entire review process for sponsorships takes four to six weeks to complete. When submitting your application, please take into account your event’s timeline and date to ensure a decision is made before your deadline. The sooner we receive your inquiry, the better!
