The Tecumseh Pickleball Association is a Tecumseh-based not-for-profit that aims to grow Pickleball locally among players of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. They boast 750 members and organize over 10 courts thanks to their volunteer board of directors and supporters. WFCU Credit Union has been a major sponsor of their International Tournament, bringing over 400 players from British Columbia, Quebec, Michigan, Minnesota, and Ontario to play in the 3-day event.

As part of our naming rights, the WFCU Square is located within Lakewood Park (North) in Tecumseh. The Town of Tecumseh owns the park, which features a paved walking trail, outdoor fitness equipment, and scenic beach views. WFCU Square is the venue for Lakewood Summer Sounds, a free outdoor music event organized by the Town of Tecumseh.

Our History in Tecumseh

In 2008, WFCU opened its first branch in Tecumseh, further establishing its presence in Windsor-Essex. The location featured a service environment not found at most other financial institutions that continues to be offered today, where members are welcomed by a receptionist and invited to meet with a staff member to conduct their financial business.
